1. Third Eye Blind
Third Eye Blind (1997)
CS –This album is truly iconic—it captures the spirit of the ’90s perfectly and feels deeply nostalgic. I first heard it when I was 16, right after getting out of rehab, and it stuck with me immediately. I fell in love with Third Eye Blind after hearing their song “Jumper,” and from there, the whole album just clicked. I connected with so much of it because of what I was going through at the time. It ended up meaning a lot to me and really helped me get through a difficult period.
(PT– Este álbum é verdadeiramente icónico — capta na perfeição o espírito dos anos 90 e traz uma profunda nostalgia. Ouvi-o pela primeira vez aos 16 anos, pouco depois de sair da reabilitação, e marcou-me imediatamente. Apaixonei-me pelos Third Eye Blind depois de ouvir a música “Jumper”, e a partir daí, todo o álbum fez sentido para mim. Identifiquei-me muito com ele por causa do que estava a passar na altura. Acabou por significar muito para mim e ajudou-me realmente a ultrapassar um período difícil.)

CS – There isn’t a single bad song on this album. Every time I listen to it, it brings back some of the most beautiful memories of my life. I love everything about it. Whenever I’m feeling down, this album lifts me up in every way. My favorite track is “Doves in the Wind.” In my opinion, SZA is one of the best R&B/pop artists out there. Her delivery is incredible, and every sonic choice she makes feels perfectly placed.
(PT– Não há uma única música má neste álbum. Cada vez que o ouço, traz-me de volta algumas das memórias mais bonitas da minha vida. Adoro tudo nele. Sempre que me estou a sentir em baixo, este álbum anima-me completamente. A minha faixa favorita é “Doves in the Wind”. Na minha opinião, SZA é uma das melhores artistas de R&B/pop da atualidade. CS – This is my go-to “sad girl” album. I’ve listened to it through every breakup I’ve gone through, especially the song “Say Something.” I absolutely love his writing—the storytelling on this album is so strong and really pulls you in. The production feels unmatched, and I love how guitar-driven so much of it is. I’m just a huge fan of Mike.

CS – A classic!!! This is the screaming my lungs out in the car album! Its emotional, loud and head banging. Haley Williams is a huge inspiration and this album is the blueprint for pop punk artists.
